Veena Ravi has dedicated 20-25 years to collecting dolls. She has recreated the underwater city of Dwarka by using over 6,000 Dasara figurines at her home in Basavanagudi. "For over two decades, we have gathered these dolls. Each year, we create a fresh theme using the figurines, narrating different tales from Hindu mythology. This year, we have selected Dwarka, the sacred city that, as per legend, submerged under the Arabian Sea upon Lord Krishna's exit from Earth," she explains. This family tradition has evolved into a local attraction, drawing around 100 visitors daily during Dasara. Months before the event, preparations for the display start with the meticulous arrangement of the figurines in August, striving for perfection in every detail.
